As I wake up each morning I try to look at the sunrise and start each day by saying, "おはよう". A lot of people believe that if you speak positivity at the beginning of each day you will experience it throughout that day. I also believe that saying おはよう each morning, in a way, gives thanks for the opportunity to experience another day. I want to start being more thankful.
Lately I have been juggling a lot of things, which is a situation I seem to get myself in quite often. I start several projects and then put pressure on myself to stay up-to-date with all of them in a short time period. Lately I have been focusing on my overall health and wellness, which includes me going to the gym and posting about it on Instagram in order to maintain a sense of accountability. Through that effort I have become something of a sales representative for a supplement company that I have been using for a while. The whole opportunity has got me thinking of my future and what I want to do with it.
I am still trying to learn Japanese, but I am not devoting as much time to it as I need to. I have admittedly fallen behind, but I will say I am doing things out of the norm to make some effort. I am watching more anime with subtitles and trying to listen to more Japanese music to be influenced. In fact, I stumbled on a new band called Kizu that I am absolutely loving right now.
I plan to put so much more work into this website and make it as interesting as I can. I need to work more on my artwork and upload some of the pieces I've been working on. A lot of my art has been themed around My Hero Academia, and I am really happy with it. I'm still planning my trip to Japan and the gears are still turning, albeit slowly. I won't run out of steam, and waking up each day with a "thank you" will help me remain humble and thankful for yet another opportunity to make my dream a reality.
